Okay..this is weird, I never thought I'd need a FAQ of my own, but since I've been getting alot of questions and emails and comments lately I thought I would answer them all here and then mark this entry in my user Info for folks to find.. ;)

1. I like your stuff! Could you tell me where to find more of it?
Sure thing! At the moment I'm uploading all my most recent work to my LJ and to my DevArt Account I also have a website dedicated to my Potti Geekery:
2. Are you a Professional Creative-type person of some sort?
Why yes I am! I am a professional animator/character designer/storyboard artist. I've worked on shows for the Cartoon Network (Home Movies, Show & Tell), BET (Hey Monie), and NBC (Time Warp Trio). It is a whole lotta fun indeed!
3. Did you go to school for art?
Yep! Graduated 2002 from the Rhode Island School of Design with a major in Film/Animation/Video and a minor in Illustration. It was awesome..I miss college..
4. Can I use one of your drawings for an icon/layout?
Sure! I have no problem with people making icons or layouts with my work under the condition that I get proper credit (my name and a link to my LJ or website) and a copy of, or a link to, the finished product once it's done (because I'm a curious boo!) ;)
5. Can I ink/color one of your drawings?
Yes! Since I very rarely have the time to color my own work these days, I *love* to see what other people do with them! However, like the previous question, I ask for proper credit (my name and a link to my LJ or website) and a copy of, or a link to, the finished product once it's done!
6. Can I write a fanfic based on one of your drawings?
EEE! OF COURSE! If I hardly ever get to color my stuff, I definatley NEVER get a chance to write about it! I only ask that if you want to use the picture, give me credit with a link back to my site, and please please send me a link to the story once it's done! :D
7. Can you draw..(insert pairing/character/scene here)?
I don't take official requests at this time, seeing as the small amount of time that I DO get to draw for myself I like to do so for own enjoyment (and sanity). But that doesn't mean I'm not open to suggestions, I'm always interested in hearing what folks want to see... :)
8. Do you take commisions?
COMMISSIONS ARE CLOSED!. Sorry guys! I will make an announcement when I open them again You can check my prices here.
9. Do you have a tutorial on how to draw people/animals/biscuits? Or can you make one?
I'm so flattered that people have asked me this! Alas at the moment I do not have one, and I don't have the time to make one. I have found this tutorial by Tealin, another HP artist that I think is wonderful (and I'm pimpimg her site without permission, I hope she doesn't mind!). It's a great breakdown of the basics, and I construct my drawings in a very similar fashion.
10. Do you have any tips on how to draw?
I have a few off the top of my head I suppose...
* Draw from Life as often as possible, as mush as possible. Use your drawings to examine how the form is put together, how it's constructed and how it functions. Once you can understand the structure of a form from the inside out, it is a very simple step to exaggerate and toon-ize it ;)
* Draw alot, bring a sketch book with you where ever you go, and fill it. Don't bother with erasers, just make it work or start over. Don't get discouraged, just do it..if you keep drawing you will improve, it's simple as that.
* Nothing is precious. Don't worry about "ruining a piece", because you can always just draw another one anyway. You will draw thousands and thousands of drawings over your lifetime, and each one is just a stepping stone to the next. It's a learning process, not a test.
* Stay loose. Work over the whole figure. If you tighten up and nitpick one area at a time things won't hang together as a whole and you're more likely to loose your sense of proportion.
* Everything is made up of simple forms and shapes.
* And lastly DRAW DRAW DRAW! And have fun doing it ;)
